Real skill progression

Each day builds confidence, problem-solving, and climbing fundamentals through intentional, age-appropriate progressions.

Easy Kakaʻako location

Central location + half- and full-day movement = happy kids and an easier day for parents.

Professional youth coaches

Day at camp

Who is this camp for?

  • Ages:

    • Younger Campers (what we call Base Camp): 7–10 years old

    • Older Campers (what we call Summit): 11–14 years old

      • Campers are grouped by age and experience for appropriate challenges, coaching, and social dynamics.

  • Experience:

    • No climbing experience needed! Campers simply need to be ready to follow instructions, try new things, and participate without a parent present.

  • Readiness: We recommend camp for keiki who can:

    • Separate from caregivers for the full camp session

    • Listen to coaches, follow directions, and respect other climbers

    • Move confidently on their feet and navigate stairs/ladders

Not sure if your child is ready or which age group is the best fit? Email our Youth Programs Coordinator at youth@hawaiiclimb.com and we’ll help you decide.
