HiClimb has a three strike per session policy.
-
Level 1 - conduct that is an infraction of gym rules for risk management, unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior but still within self-control – this kind of behavior will be delt with by verbalized discipline, that includes an explanation what was wrong and what is correct in a particular situation. The Youth will be asked to take responsibility the best they can for this misbehavior.
-
Level 2 – conduct that is either repeated infractions of gym rules for risk management, unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior or the Youth is losing control has lost self-control or are affecting other climbers’ learning – this kind of behavior will be delt with by verbalized discipline and a break from the group.
-
Level 3 – conduct that is either repeated after a break from the group or is egregious – this kind of behavior will be delt with by calling the parents to either consul the Youth by phone or come for an early pick up.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Not all disabilities are visible, please let us know if you need any adaptations.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Guardian acknowledges that climbing is inherently dangerous. Guardian agrees and understands that their participation and their Youths participation in HiClimb services may involve risks. These risks may lead to tangible or intangible harm, and Guardian agrees that these risks may result not only from their own or their Youths own actions but also from the actions of others. With the knowledge and understanding of these risks, Guardian chooses, of their own will and volition, to continue participating in HiClimb services.
