Is climbing safe?
Rock climbing is inherently dangerous. However, we go to great lengths to make our facilities are safe as possible to ensure that our guests encounter as little risk as possible. We require a waiver from every visitor to the gym.
(COVID-19) Do I need to reserve a time slot or can I just show up?
Due to COVID-19 limitations, we're currently requirng reservations for Peak Hours.

Do I need special equipment?
Nope! Everything you need is included. You will probably want to bring a pair of socks… and a water bottle.
Can I leave my children unattended at HiClimb?
Do I need a membership to climb at HiClimb?
No membership required! We offer day passes and 6 punch passes.
Is there a place to climb outdoors on Oahu?

What types of climbing are available?
What is “belaying” and how do I learn?
Belaying is the process of managing the rope and risk as a person climbs and lowers. We provide a 2-hour class on belaying every day of the week.
Do you have auto-belays?
Yes! We have a limited number of auto-belays. An auto-belay orientation from a staff member is required before using an auto-belay.
Do I have to take a belay class in order to climb?

What is the youngest age allowed to climb?
Five years old is a great age to start, as the young climbers will need the physical strength and mental capacity to problem solve.
What kind of instruction is offered at HiClimb?
What should I wear?
Wear anything you feel comfortable in, though stretchy athletic clothing that allows for maximum freedom of movement is probably your best bet. Also remember a pair of socks… and a water bottle.
Do you have free WiFi?
All day, every day!
Do you have lockers?
We offer a limited number of lockers at a first come first serve basis. Please bring your own lock. HiClimb takes no liability for lost/stolen items within our facility.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Checks and of course cash.
What is a Kamaaina discount & how do I qualify?
We offer discounts to anyone who currently lives in Hawaii. These discounts are only applied if provided a valid State, School, Military ID, or proof of residence. Kamaaina discounts can only be applied in-person at the gym.
